Luma Creations is thrilled to present a 10-week Creative Writing Workshop for Beginners led by actor, educator, scriptwriter, and storyteller, Max Alder. This engaging workshop series is designed for adults aged 18+ who are either beginners or in the early stages of their writing journey.
When and Where
The workshops will run every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm, starting 26th November 2024 and concluding on 11th February 2025. Please note, there will be no sessions on 24th December or 31st December due to the holidays. The workshops will be held in Meeting Room 3, 4th Floor, Liverpool Central Library.
What to Expect
This free programme offers participants the chance to develop a solid foundation in creative writing skills. You’ll explore:
- Character and plot development
- Dialogue and descriptive writing techniques
- Research, planning, and editing
In addition, the workshops will delve into powerful global themes such as migration, society, and identity, with inspiration drawn from literature.
